This fully renovated apartment is located in the heart of the dynamic business district, in one of the towers that form the skyline. The Zuidas has an international character, that was the starting point for our design.

Upon entering, the openness of the space is immediately striking. By working with semi-transparent volumes, subtle transitions between the different functions have been created without compromising the spaciousness. This keeps the flat light, uncluttered and connected, while each zone retains its own identity.

The six-metre-long kitchen island is the unmistakable centrepiece. It is not only a grand gesture, but also a powerful statement that defines the atmosphere and identity of the space.

From the kitchen, you can experience the complete openness of the apartment thanks to the unobstructed view of the living room. The transparent wine cabinet subtly marks the transition between the two areas, a separation that also creates a connection.

A light base has been chosen throughout the apartment, complemented by warm earthy tones. Refined Italian design is combined with subtle Japanese elements. This layering emphasises the international character and creates a harmonious, elegant atmosphere.

In the dining room, soft reflections play across the high-gloss, burgundy-coloured table. The photograph by Jeroen Hofman, the view and the light streaming in are reflected in the surface, giving the room an almost painterly depth.

The art and styling add a distinct Dutch design signature. Combining Dutch pieces with African and Asian objects creates a surprising, characterful mix that reflects the personality of the residents.

The bathroom feels long and spacious thanks to the continuous runner, with the freestanding bath in front of the window at the end serving as a sculptural centrepiece.

The shower is clad in generous natural stone slabs with a powerful, distinctive pattern, giving the space texture and a luxurious look.

In the master bedroom, a system of sliding panels allows you to effortlessly switch between openness and privacy; the space transforms elegantly with a single movement.
